Will we see Rohit and Kohli together in the RCB colors in IPL 2025? According to former India cricketer Mohammed Kaif the Royal Challengers should seize that opportunity.
Kaif believes that RCB should make every effort to bring Rohit on board as the captain of the team. He asserts that Rohit’s expertise in forming a winning XI could give RCB a significant edge.
“RCB should take that chance, 100 per cent, by hook or by crook, they must convince him to take up captaincy. Rohit knows very well how to form an XI so RCB will have the advantage if he is picked and probably their trophy drought could also end,” Kaif stated.
Rohit who recently captained India to victory in the T20 World Cup, shared his thoughts on his retirement from the format.
“No no no. The only reason I retired from T20Is was because I’ve had my time. I enjoyed playing the format. I played for 17 years, and I did well. When you win the World Cup… it was the best time for you to move on. It was time to move on and look after other things. There are a lot of good players who can do well for India.
“So, that was not because I felt anything. I just felt it was the right time. I can still play all three formats easily. That’s why I say that fitness is in your mind and how you train it.” Rohit Sharma expressed.
Rohit also shared that he believes everything is in the mind, he has a lot of self-belief because he knows he can control his mind, its thought for him but he manages to to do so.
