India wicketkeeper-batsman Dinesh Karthik has announced his retirement from all forms of cricket. He had announced his retirement in June this year. Karthik has played 26 Tests, 94 ODIs and 60 T20Is for India.
However, after retiring from cricket, Karthik is now busy analyzing the game as a commentator and expert. Recently, in the latest episode of Cricbuzz’s video series’ Hesby ‘, Karthik was asked an interesting question.
In this question, he was asked that if he gets a chance to change his life for a week with a celebrity, then who will he be and what will he do?
Kartik replied: “I would love to change lives with AR Rahman. I am his biggest fan and have never met him. I would like to know how much creativity they have in their minds.”
Appreciating AR Rahman’s musical talent, Karthik said that the continuity of his music for the last three decades influences him a lot. He also wants to know what inspires Rahman’s creativity.
However, Karthik also admitted that it would be a challenge to work overnight to create new music compositions, as Rahman does. “I have heard that Rahman works through the night. It will be a challenge, but still I don’t mind going into their minds.”
