India pulled off another win against Pakistan at the Hong Kong Sixes 2025. The match went right down to the wire today. Rain made things complicated but Men in Blue held their nerve throughout. Pak came really close but fell short by just 2 runs.

Fans got their money’s worth watching these two teams battle again. The Hong Kong Sixes format makes every ball count in these games. India now sits at the top of Pool C after this win. Pak has won one and lost one so far in the tournament.
Robin Uthappa Destroys the Opposition’s Bowling
India posted 86/4 in their six overs batting first. Robin Uthappa was the star with the bat for his team. He smashed 28 runs off only 11 balls he faced. His innings had 3 massive sixes and 2 boundaries as well.
Bharat Chipli also played a solid knock of 24 runs from 13 deliveries. He kept the scoreboard ticking when team needed some stability there. Captain Dinesh Karthik remained not out on 17 runs off just six balls. His quick runs at the end pushed the team past 85 total.
Pakistan Almost Chased It Down
Khawaja Nafay came out swinging hard for Pak in the chase. He scored 18 runs in the very first over itself. They looked like they would win this match easily at that point. But Indians fought back with some tight bowling after that start.
Stuart Binny bowled brilliantly and gave away only 7 runs in his over in the match. He also picked up the crucial wicket of Maaz Sadaqat when needed. The rain stopped play after three overs had been bowled. The DLS method came into effect to decide the final target of 43 in 3 overs.
India Wins Under DLS Calculations
Pakistan needed a few more runs under the revised DLS target. They finished 2 runs short when officials made the final call. Robin Uthappa won the Player of the Match award for his explosive batting. The Hong Kong Sixes 2025 keeps getting better with such close finishes.
