2008 – Rajasthan Royals

In the inaugural 2008 IPL edition, Rajasthan Royals emerged as champions under Shane Warne’s inspiring leadership. Starting as underdogs, they relied on young Indian talents like Ravindra Jadeja and Yusuf Pathan, securing 11 wins in 14 league matches.

Deccan Chargers, who finished last in the 2008 season, made a remarkable comeback to win the 2009 IPL title under the leadership of Adam Gilchrist. Held in South Africa, the tournament saw Gilchrist leading with powerful performances, backed by strong contributions from Herschelle Gibbs, Rohit Sharma, and Pragyan Ojha, while RP Singh topped the bowling charts with 23 wickets.

In the final against Royal Challengers Bangalore, the Chargers defended a modest total of 143, with Singh and Ojha leading the attack to secure a six-run victory.

2010 – Chennai Super Kings
