Abhishek Sharma did something really cool in India’s first Asia Cup game. He smashed a six on his very first ball against the UAE. Only three other Indian players have done this before him.

Abhishek joins Rohit Sharma, Yashasvi Jaiswal, and Sanju Samson in this special club. Hitting a six off your first ball takes guts and skill.
The match was pretty one-sided from the start. The UAE got bowled out for just 57 runs, which is terrible. India then chased it down in only 27 balls without breaking a sweat.
Sharma Makes His Mark Early
When Sharma walked out to bat, nobody expected fireworks immediately. But he had other plans and went after the bowler straightaway. The ball sailed over the boundary for six runs.
He ended up making 30 runs from 16 balls before getting out. His knock gave India the perfect start they wanted. The crowd loved watching him bat so aggressively from ball one.
This kind of fearless cricket is what makes T20 so exciting. Young kids watching will definitely try copying Sharma’s approach now. His confidence at the crease was obvious to everyone watching.
Indian Bowlers Wreck UAE Completely
The UAE never got going with the bat at all today. Indian spinners made them look like club players out there. The pitch was turning, but the UAE couldn’t handle the pressure.
Kuldeep Yadav was the pick of the bowlers with 4/7. He bowled just over 2 overs and destroyed their middle order. His googly had them completely foxed throughout his spell.
Shivam Dube chipped in with 3 wickets too. Bumrah, Chakaravarthy, and Axar got one each as well. Only Alishan Sharafu managed 22 runs, which saved some embarrassment.
Pakistan Next for Confident India
Shubman Gill was not out on 20 from 9 balls. He didn’t need to do much with Sharma doing damage. The target was tiny, so India cruised home team easily.
This win will boost India’s confidence massively going into bigger games. Pakistan is up next, which will be a real test. They’re much better than the UAE and won’t roll over easily.
